Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how you can add a Google account to the Calendar application on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see some icons. This is the area we need to focus on because we need to open up the Applications folder.

   The icon for the Applications folder is located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle, and here we can see that there is a grid made up of white dots

   This is the icon we need. Press down on it, and it will open up our Applications folder.

   In this folder, we need to find the Calendar application

   We can see that there is an icon of a calendar with the word "Calender" underneath. Press down on it, and it will allow us to enter the application.

   We want to choose the first option, "Accounts (All calendars)"

   Press the icon in the top right-hand corner, which is a white plus sign in the blue bar

   To add a Google account, press down on "Google"

   Here we can add our account. We have already added our account to the HTC One M8, but we're going to go through the process just to show how to do it. We may need to do this if we have several Google accounts, if we created a new account, if we bought the phone second-hand or for any other reasons.

   Let's enter our email address where it says "Enter your email"

   If we don't have a Google account, we can create one using the option "Or create a new account". If necessary, go away and do that, and then come back and watch the rest of this video. Press down on the area where it says "Enter your email" and enter the email address.
