You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to add a framing grid to the camera on your iPhone 6.
Steps
1
The first thing we're going to need to do, is press the Home button of our phone
.
2
This will open the Lock screen
.
From the Lock screen, we'll swipe across.
3
Enter our pin or passcode, or we can just use a thumb or fingerprint on the Touch ID sensor
.
4
This will take us into the Home screen
.
5
Once in the Home screen, we're looking for the "Settings" icon, which is a silver-gray box with a series of gears in it
.
It's also labeled "Settings".
6
When we find the "Settings" icon, we need to press it one time
.
After we've pressed the icon, we'll be on the main panel, which is labeled "Settings". This is where we can access all of the different options for our device.
7
The option we're looking for is "Photos & Camera", which has a little flower off to the side
.
8
Once that is found, give it a single tap
.
This will open up the "Photos & Camera" panel.
9
Scrolling down, we'll see the option under "CAMERA" for "Grid"
.
10
We can see to the right of "Grid", the switch is off
.
11
A single press on the switch will add a framing grid to our camera
.
12
In order to confirm that we actually have a framing grid, we'll go ahead and press the Home button one time
.
13
Then we'll press the "Camera" button up at the top
.
14
We can see now that there is a grid
.
15
If we put our hand behind the camera, it makes this grid much easier to see
.
16
In order to double check that, we can simply double press the Home button
.
17
Then, tap back on our panel
.
18
19
20
Once again, tap the Camera icon in the lower right corner
.
21
Now we'll see that there is no framing grid
.
22
Just double press the Home button and tap again on the "Photos & Camera" panel
.
23
Simply press one more time to turn the framing grid on
.
24
Swipe back up, to double-check with the Camera
.
25
As we discussed, the framing grid has now been turned on and enabled for our iPhone 6
.
26
This concludes our tutorial on adding a framing grid to the iPhone 6 camera
.
