Add a Folder To the iOS Dock On an iPhone or iPad with the Edit home screen or wiggle mode. If you find yourself accessing the same apps often, adding them to a folder and placing it in your dock area could prove to be quite convenient. Because the dock area is accessible from any home screen page, adding a folder containing multiple apps increases proficiency and keeps things organized better.

The process of adding a folder to your dock section is quite simple. Users running iOS 13 can drag and drop an app icon directly onto another app in the dock area. However, users running iOS 12 or earlier must create a folder on the home screen before adding it to the dock section.

In the following guide, we're going to show you how to create a folder and add it to your dock area. For this tutorial, we used an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.4.
