Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add a profile photo to your Facebook account on an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Facebook application
.
There is a Facebook icon, which is a blue background with a white "f" inside, and underneath it says the word "Facebook".

We now need to tap the menu icon in the top right-hand corner to find our profile

There are three gray horizontal lines.

We now press down on our name to open our profile

Press down on the square where the profile photo is
.
In this example, it's blank and we need to add one. We will then have a choice to upload a photo or choose from our photos, so we can choose from photos in our Facebook account or upload one from the HTC One M8.

Tap on the chosen option

We're going to choose "Upload Photo".

We now need to tap on the photo that we want to set as our profile picture

Move and scale the photo to set the best position, then press down on "Done" in the bottom right-hand corner
