Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to add words to the suggested dictionary on a Microsoft Lumia 535. We're also going to show you how to delete any words by resetting the suggestions in the keyboard menu.

   If I use a word a lot, such as a name, location, or slang, or something that's personal for me, I want to include that in my suggested words, so I don't have constantly type it out and slow myself down. Let's try a Spanish word. We might want to use this word. It has not come up in the list of suggested words just below the text box.

    You can delete any words that you've added to the dictionary

    To do that, we need to reset the suggestions, which can be done in settings. Swipe down from the top to enter the notifications panel.

    Press on All Settings on the right side of the screen to go to the settings in an easy way

Does Lumia 535 support Afrikaans predictive typing?

I need an Afrikaans dictionary for a Lumia 535 so that predictive typing will reflect Afrikaans words. Does such a thing exist?. I have tried: Changed keyboard to Afrikaans and added Afrikaans as a language

First of all, update your Lumia 535. The support may come out someday. As of now, the Afrikaans predictive text is not supported; but the two best things you can do besides checking for updates every now and then are disabling the predictive text feature or retraining Dutch predictive text.
