To begin, we unlock the telephone by pressing the top right-hand side Lock button

We swipe up one time to go into the Home screen

From the Home screen, there are two ways to access WhatsApp.

One of the ways is having WhatsApp installed on the Home screen of the telephone

That's usually done because the application is used often.

If we do not have WhatsApp installed as an icon on the Home screen, we can access it by tapping the "Apps" icon

The icon is in the bottom right-hand corner and has a gray box with white squares. We can tap it one time to bring up all of our applications installed on our phone.

We can scroll both to the left and to the right until we find the WhatsApp icon

We can tap the WhatsApp icon one time to open up the application

To change our wallpaper, we do want to open up any conversation by tapping the name of the person

We can select a wallpaper from our documents, use the default wallpaper, choose wallpapers from WhatsApp, or set no wallpaper

Let's choose "WhatsApp" by tapping it
