Unlock the phone by either pressing the Lock button on the right-hand side or the Home button on the bottom

Swipe and enter the passcode, or place a finger on the Home button to use the fingerprint scanner

Tap once on the Snapchat icon to open up the application

The icon appears as a yellow box with a white ghost in the middle. Tapping on it opens up the camera.

Take a photo by pressing the Circle button at the bottom

Swipe across the screen from left to right to cycle through the filters

There are the first few filters where it has the speed, temperature and time. There are also filters with different colors as well. Choose one and just leave it on that.

Click the arrow in the bottom right corner to proceed and send the snap as normal

Alternatively, to go back, just press the "X" in the top-right corner
