Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add a profile photo to an account in the Skype application while using the Microsoft Lumia 535.

   Press the power button on the right side of the phone to turn the phone on and display the lock screen

   Swipe the lock screen up to unlock the phone and display the Home screen

   Find and tap the Skype tile to open the Skype application

   The Skype tile has a blue background with the Skype logo in white, which is a circle with a blue "S" in it. If Skype is not pinned to the home screen, swipe from right to left to view the App menu. Find Skype in the App menu and tap it.

   Tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the profile page

   If there is no profile photo on the account, the profile icon will appear as a blue circle with the outline of a person in it. The profile icon also has a small colored circle on it. In this example, the circle is green, indicating the status is "Online". The profile page displays information about the account, such as the profile photo, current status, and the option to view further details.

   Tap the "ADD A PHOTO" square at the top of the profile page, on the right side, to add a profile photo

   The square is light blue, and there is an image of a head and shoulders. This will open our photo albums. There are now two options. We can choose a photo from our photo albums, or we can take a new photo to use as the new profile picture.

   To take a photo, tap the small camera icon at the bottom of the screen, in the middle

   The icon appears as a white circle with a camera inside it. The camera function is similar to the camera application on the phone. In this example, we will use a photo from the photo albums.

   Tap a photo in the list of photos to set it as the profile picture

   This will open the picture in fullscreen mode, where we can crop the photo to resize it.
