You're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how you can add a new post to your activity feed, and share or send it on the MapMyRun application on an iPhone 6.

   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the Lock button on the side or the Home button at the bottom

   Swipe the screen across and enter a passcode, or simply use the fingerprint scanner

   Find the MapMyRun icon, which is blue and white

   .

   Tap it once to open the app. If we're signed in, which we need to be, it will take us to this page where we can record our run.

   We need to go to the top left corner where there are three horizontal lines to bring up a new menu

   Tap "Activity Feed", which is indicated by some horizontal lines on the left

   .

   It will open our activity feed from what our friends are doing and also what we're doing.

   Tap the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner, and it will allow us to create a new post

   We can type as we like

   Tap on the camera icon to take a photo

   Allow the app to access the camera.

   Press the blue circle to take a photo

    Add different filters if desired, and press "Done" when finished

    We can see it's added the photo, and we can click "Remove" if we don't want it

    We can edit the post as normal, and then we have the option underneath to share with everyone, and share to Facebook or Twitter

    .

    For example, if we only want to share with our friends, then we click on the middle option with two people which is now "friends", which is indicated above. The padlock is "only you".

    We can also share to Facebook if it's our friends or everyone, and we can share to Twitter as well, once we allow access

    .

    The only reason it asks for access to Twitter and not Facebook is because we're logged into Facebook. However, if we're logged in with email, it will ask for access to Facebook as well.

    When we're happy, we can click "Post" in the top right corner, or we can click the cross in the top left corner to go back and not post anything
