You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can add a shape to a document on the Pages application on an iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom
.
2
Swipe right to enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone
.
3
Find the Pages icon which is this orange one with the pen and tap once to open up the app
.
4
We are already in a document at the moment which is a blank template but you can refer to our other video to find out how to open a new document depending on the nature of what it is you want to create
.
5
We need to go to the plus sign once the document is open
.
6
Pressing the plus sign brings up this menu where we can choose from a variety of things from the top
.
7
The first tab is tables, the second is graphs, third is shapes
.
We can browse through the shapes and select which one we'd like by scrolling left and right.
8
We can then select any shape we'd like and the shape will be entered into the document
.
9
We can pull the shape and alter it depending on our preferences and we can see that as we pull the blue dots, they will increase the length or width
.
The diagonal dots will scale in proportion.
10
The yellow line tells us whether it is centered or not
.
11
We can pull any of the points and it will scale the shape
.
12
Tap away from the shape and on the white part of the document to continue typing normally
.
13
Swipe up to see the entire document and that is pretty much where we began
.
14
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can add a shape to a document to the Pages application on an iPhone 6
.
If you have any questions, comments or queries, feel free to add them to the section below and we will do our best to help you.
