Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to add quick prewritten text into a message on an HTC One M8.

To begin turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen

To unlock the phone press down on the screen, hold down until we see two white padlock icons, and then swipe up

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the Home screen

At the bottom, we will see five various icons. It is within these icons that we need to find the Messages icon.

The icon for our Messages is represented by a white text box, with three green horizontal lines

Press down on our Messages icon, this is going to open up our Messages
.
In this video, we want to show how to add quick prewritten text into a message. To do that we need to create a new message.

At the top of the screen within the blue bar there will be a white "+", press down on this once

This is going to allow us to create a new message.

In this new message, we want to press down in the box where it reads "Add text"

Press down in this box once so that this area is highlighted.

Then we are going to press down on the icon located at the top, right-hand side of the screen

This icon features three, white, small dots in a vertical line. Press down on this icon once, this is going to bring up our menu.

We now want to press the second option which will say "Quick text" in white writing
.
Pressing down on this option is going to open up our Quick text box or Quick texts menu.

Here we can see that there is a variety of messages that we can choose from
.
They are pre-written and they allow us to come to this section, press down on the option we want, and quickly send it. If we are in a rush, if we are at work, if we can't really talk right now, or we have got two hands full and we can't really type - we can send these quick texts which make our lives a little bit easier.
