Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add a profile photo to a Skype account on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, unlock the phone

   .

   We can do that by pressing down on the power button located on top of the phone. We'll then need to swipe the lock screen up, and that will take us to the home screen.

   On the home screen, we need to tap the icon at the bottom of the phone, in the middle

   There is a grid made up of white dots. This will open up the applications folder.

   In this folder, we need to find and tap the Skype application

   There is a Skype icon, which is a white "S" on top of a blue cloud, and underneath it says "Skype".

   We now need to use the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   If there's no profile photo, it will be a circle with a blue head and shoulders icon inside.

   Tap the blue circle at the top

   This is where the profile photo should be, but we don't have one in this example, that's why it's blue with the head and shoulders. If we press down on the blue circle, a prompt titled "Change profile picture" will appear with three options: "Choose from Gallery", "Take photo" or "Clear profile picture".

   Tap on the chosen option

   We're going to choose a photo from the Gallery. This will bring up all of the photos on our HTC One M8.
