Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add places to the Weather application on Windows 10 computers.
Steps
1
The first thing that we need to do is open up the Weather application
.
To do this, we need to click the lower-left corner of the screen to open up the start menu.
2
From the start menu, we need to click the Weather app
.
We wait for it to load.
3
When the weather application opens, we need to click the "Places" icon
.
The icon is on the left side of the screen. The icon has the shape of a star.
4
To add a place, we need simply to click the plus sign
.
5
In the search bar, we need to type the name of a city or the zip code of a city
.
For example, let's go ahead and find Washington by typing it in the search bar. We click the city that we need, which will appear in the drop-down menu. We will have the information about Washington, DC.
6
We click the box for Washington, DC
.
In this case, Weather is telling us that there is a coastal flood, and it is advisory for us to read it.
7
We click "Coastal Flood - Advisory"
.
We will be able to read the details.
This concludes our tutorial on how to add places to the Weather app on Windows 10 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
