    To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button or home button

    Find the Pages icon, which is orange with a white pen, and tap it to open the app

    We already have a document open, which is a blank page template with an extract or a friends book. Your page could look a little different to this. To learn how to open a document, refer to another tutorial on how to do that. It doesn't matter which format we choose, we will have the same four options on the top right-hand side.
