Add Numbers Password to Spreadsheet on iPhone 6 Edited by Freya, Robert, Eng
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to add a password to a spreadsheet using the Numbers application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
2
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen
.
3
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
4
Find the numbers icon which is green and tap on it once to open the application
.
In this example, there is already a document open that is using the personal budget template. If we don't know how, we can refer to the article on how to open a document using the Numbers application on the iPhone 6. We will always have the same options along the top.
5
Tap on the wrench icon in the top-right corner to bring up a new menu
.
6
Tap on "Set Password" which is indicated by a padlock icon
.
7
Fill in the required information
.
Tap to the right of each word to fill in that particular space.
8
Tap on "Done" in the top-right corner to finish and save
.
9
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back
.
As we can see, there is now a padlock on the document, meaning it is locked by a password.
10
Tap on the document to open it
.
11
Now, we must enter our password to open the document
.
12
Tap on the white bubble next to "Remember the password" to have the app save our password so we don't have to enter it on this device
.
The bubble will turn green to indicate that the option is enabled. Tap it again to disable the option.
13
Tap on "Done" in the top-right corner to continue
.
14
To remove the password, tap on the wrench icon in the top-right corner
.
15
Tap on "Change Password"
.
16
Tap on the bubble next to "Require Password" to disable passwords
.
The bubble will indicate green when the option is enabled, and white when the option is disabled.
17
Enter the password in order to remove it
.
18
Tap on "Done" in the top-right corner to finish and save
.
19
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back
.
As we can see, the document is no longer locked with a padlock.
20
Now you know how to add a password to a document using the Numbers application on the iPhone 6
.
