Add Nicknames or Birth Names to Facebook on iPhone 6

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this series of Facebook videos I'm going to tell you about some of the most complicated features and settings that you might possibly be interested in. In this video I am going to show you how to add a nickname or birth name to your Facebook profile.
Next, scroll all the way down until we see an "OTHER NAMES" section. That's where we can add a nickname and a birth name. In that case it will appear next to our name. People will be able to do a search on us through Facebook using the nickname. Let's tap it.
After we tap on it a scrolling pop-up gives options for "Maiden Name", "Alternate Spelling", "Married Name", "Father's Name", "Birth Name", and "Former Name," in case you've changed it. There's also "Name with Title," and "Other". We could be a Queen Mary or what ever we choose it to be.
And the very last option will allow us to show that nickname at the top of a profile or leave it hidden. Other names are always public and how people find us on Facebook. Let's checkmark it. Name the name will be shown on the top of the profile.
You just watched me adding a nickname or a birth name to the Facebook profile on the iPhone 6. If you have any additional questions on how the iPhone or any related applications work, you are welcome to leave your questions and comments in the section below. Thank you for watching VisiHow. Bye-bye.
