The quickest way to add a contact is to force-press the Phone icon

Tap on "Create New Contact"

Phone will take you straight to the "New Contact" page, where you can fill in the name and other contact details.

In this video, "Mike Holmes" is typed into the "First name" input field

Then, "add phone" is tapped to enter the phone number.

You can also type text into all of the custom fields

Dial a phone number

You can either call the phone number or create a contact by tapping the plus icon in the top left

Alternatively, tap on "Recent"

This will show the recent call history.

It is to the right of the phone number.
