Steps

Tap on the Instagram application

Instagram has a brown camera icon. In this video, it's on the home screen.

If it's not on the home screen, you can open it up from the "Apps" menu

When Instagram opens, you will be looking at your news feed. It shows all of the photos that your contacts are posting.

If you want to view your own photos, you need tap the icon of a person on the screen

The icon is in the lower-right corner. On the profile page, you can see your profile and all of the photos that you have posted to Instagram.

To select a photo, tap on it

Below the photo, you can see three bullet points.

Tap on the bullet points to open a pop-up menu

The second option in the pop-up menu is "Edit".

You can edit the caption of the photo in "EDIT INFO".

Add a hash by tapping "123 Sym" in the lower left-hand corner of the keyboard

It is also called "the number key".

Switch keyboard to the letters by tapping on "ABC" in the lower-left corner

Now, you can type the hashtag

For example, let's type "beach".

You can tap on the hashtag to select it

You can add another tag in the same way

In this video, "#greece" is typed and tapped.

When you've finished adding hashtags, you can tap on the blue box with a white checkmark

It is in the upper-right corner of the screen.

To close Instagram, press the bottom-center home button
