   To get started, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone

   When you see the lock screen, swipe it up to unlock the phone and access the home screen

   Find and press the Instagram tile to open the application

   .

   It is a navy blue background with a camera in the middle. In this example, it is on the bottom of the home screen. If the Instagram tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left and find it in the apps menu. We want to add a hashtag to a photo because Instagram will group the photo into specific categories. If the hashtag is added, Instagram knows where to group it and allows a lot of people to see the photo. Anyone searching for that specific hashtag will see that photo.

   To upload a photo, press the blue circle with a white camera inside

   This will open the photo albums.

   Press down on the chosen photo, then press the checkmark at the bottom of the screen

   Press the "&123" icon to access the numbers and symbols

    Tap the hashtag symbol then press "abcd" to return to the letters

    Write whatever hashtag was chosen and tap anywhere there is no text or option, to remove the keyboard

    In this example, it is "#fish", so anyone that searches for "#fish" is going to find this picture. It will also be grouped into the "#fish" group which will allow more exposure. Multiple hashtags can be chosen. If there are multiple hashtags, it will further increase the exposure of the photos.

    To upload the photo, press the blue checkmark in the blue circle at the bottom of the screen
