Add Food, Drink, Weight, and Water to MapMyRun on iPhone 6

You're watching VisiHow. Today I am going to show you how you can add food, drink, weight, or water to your MapMyRun application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button. This button is located on the right side of the device.
Alternatively, we can press the Home button. This button is located in the center at the bottom of the front side of the device.
We will then swipe to the right, this will bring us to the Touch ID or Passcode screen.
Here we can enter our Passcode, or press and hold our finger to the Home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Next we need to find our MapMyRun application icon. This icon features a white circle inside of a blue square. Inside of the circle, there will be a silhouette of a running man in blue.
Tap this icon once to open the application. This should automatically take us to the Home screen of the application, where we can begin to record a workout. We talk through exactly how to do that in another video, so please refer to that to learn how.
We now need to tap on the three, white, horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
This is going to bring up a blue menu for us.
We will scroll down through this menu until we find the option labeled "Nutrition". To the left of the word "Nutrition", there will be a white outline of an apple.
Tap "Nutrition" once, this will bring up the Nutrition window. We will note the word "Nutrition" will be written in white at the top of this screen. This window will tell us our calories remaining for the day. This will depend on our weight, and how much exercise we have done to determine what our healthy weight will be.
We can scroll through to view more information and look at various graphs.
Underneath of our "Calorie Budget" we will have three icons for our "Eat or Drink", "Weight", and "Drink Water".
First we will tap on the "Eat or Drink" option. This option is listed first, it will be represented by a gray apple icon.
This will bring us to a new screen where we can add the food and drinks we have consumed.
To add food or drink, we can tap the search bar located at the top of the screen. Beside this search bar, there will be a blue button with the word "GO" written inside of it.
We can then type in what we have consumed and press "Search" to search for it. The search button will be located at the lower right-hand corner of the keyboard, with the word "Search" will be written in white, inside of a blue bar.
This will bring up a short menu with various options regarding the food we have consumed. This will give us four options labeled "Serving", "Meal", "When", and "Share". This screen will also give us some information about what we have eaten, such as the "Calories", "Fat", "Carbs", and "Protein."
We will then go through and make choices for each option to properly reflect what we have eaten.
Once we are done choosing, we can tap on "Ate It" to add the food to our list.
Next we can tap on "Weigh". This is the second option and is represented by a gray, scale icon.
This will bring us to another screen where we can record our weight.
Simply tap on the "+" or "-" sign to change the number shown on the scale. The "+" button will add a pound whereas the "-" with subtract a pound.
When we are happy with the number shown, we can press the "Save" button. This button is located right under the scale icon. The word "Save" will be written in white, inside of a blue bar.
If the weight was changed, our "Calorie Budget" will be automatically be edited to accommodate the change.
Now we are going to tap on the last option, labeled "Drink Water". There will be a gray picture of a cup above this option.
Here we can add how much water we have consumed that day by simply tapping the "+" or "-" signs. The "+" sign is going to add 8 ounces whereas the "-" sign will subtract 8 ounces from our total.
Once we have added our desired amount, simply tap the "Save" button to save this addition. This button is directly under the up icon which we have just recorded our water intake in. "Save" will be written in white, inside of a blue bar.
We can see then that we have "4 Foods Logged Today". This notification is different under the three icons we have just interacted with, inside of a gray bar.
If we tap on this notification, we will be brought to a new page that shows what we have logged for the day.
If we want to delete one of these logged items, we can simply tap on the "X" on the right-hand side of each item. This will not double check with us if we want to delete the item, so we have to be careful with which ones we press.
To go back, we will press the white arrow located in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Beside this arrow, there will also be the word "Nutrition", written in white.
Then we are going to press the three, white, horizontal lines in the left-hand corner of the screen.
This is going to open up a blue menu for us, here we will tap on the first option labeled "Record a Workout". To the left of this option, there will be a white outline of a circle, with a white triangle inside of it.
This will take us back to the screen where we started.
