You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how to add a fingerprint and the passcode to unlock the iPhone 6s Plus.
On the home screen, tap on Settings.
Now, scroll down and tap on "Touch ID & Passcode".
Tap on "Add a Fingerprint..."
You can use any finger for the fingerprint and tap the home button. Press the home button until the phone has a good read of the fingerprint.
Lift and rest the edge of your finger on the home button repeatedly.
The phone will ask you to enter a passcode to use when Touch ID is not available. In this video, "111111" is typed.
Confirm the passcode by typing it again. Let's type "111111" again.
Now, lock the device by pressing the lock button.
You can unlock the phone by using the scanned fingertip. Place it on the home button.
That was how to add a fingerprint and the passcode to unlock your iPhone 6s Plus. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow!
