Edited by Kara, Rushell, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video we're going to show you how to add an Administrator to your Facebook page, using the Pages manager application for the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To start, we need to unlock the phone by using the fingerprint scanner
.
2
Once we have opened the home screen, we need to find the Pages manager application
.
The icon is a white square, and it has an orange flag inside of it.
3
Give it a single press to open the application
.
4
It opened to one of the pages we're currently working with
.
To add an administrator, we need to access the main menu.
5
Press on the three dots at the lower right-hand corner of the screen
.
This will open the "More" options menu.
6
The last option on this menu is "Page Settings"
.
Give that a single press.
7
Then in the second section, the second option is "Edit Page Roles"
.
Let's press on that option. This is where we will be able to add a person or change a page administrator.
8
Tap on "Add Person to Page" at the top of the screen
.
9
Then we need to enter the name of the person who will be our page administrator, so tap on the line until the keyboard appears
.
Type a name, and tap on that contact when he or she appears.
10
On the "Edit Person" screen, we have the option to set that person's role
.
11
This person is currently set as "Editor", so he will only be able to edit our posts
.
12
As an "Admin", or Administrator, he would have the same powers and rights we do
.
13
He could be just an "Advertiser", in which case he will only be able to make advertising posts and do all the payments
.
14
He could be an "Analyst"
.
15
For this demonstration, we want to make him an Administrator, so we'll tap on "Admin" to add a check mark to that area
.
16
Now, press on the "Add" bar at the bottom of the screen
.
17
After it loads, we'll see he has been added as an Administrator
.
18
To remove him as an Administrator, we can just press on the pen icon on the right side across from his name
.
19
Then tap on the "Remove" bar at the bottom of the screen
.
20
It brings up a "Confirm Remove Admin" message
.
If we're certain we want to remove this person as Administrator, we'll tap on the red "Remove" button.
21
Now, that person has been removed, and we should only see our name as the sole Administrator for our page
.
22
To add an Administrator to a different page, we can just switch by swiping across the screen several times to get to the main "More" menu
.
23
Tap on the three horizontal lines at the top left-hand corner to open the side menu bar
.
24
Tap on the page name at the top
.
25
After the page opens, tap on the three dots at the bottom right corner to open the "More" options menu for that page
.
26
Then tap on "Page Settings" at the bottom
.
27
Again, tap on "Edit Page Roles" in the second section
.
28
Select "Add Person to Page" at the top
.
29
Now, type in and select a person as we did before
.
30
Tap on the top option, "Admin", to make him an Administrator for the page
.
31
We could make him a "Moderator" instead
.
32
We could make him an "Advertiser"
.
33
When satisfied with our choice, we'll tap on "Add" in the blue bar at the bottom of the screen
.
34
After it loads, we'll see his name along with his role listed under "Current People"
.
He is currently set as an "Advertiser" on this page.
35
This concludes our tutorial on how to add and remove Administrators to a Facebook page using the Pages manager application on the iPhone 6
.
