Add Emoji Keyboard to the iPad Air 2

Steps

In order to add a keyboard with Emoji to your iPad, tap on the "Settings" option

This is a silver and gray box with a series of gears inside of it.

Under the "General" panel, scroll down until you find "Keyboard"

When you find "Keyboard", tap on it

This will open the "Keyboard" menu.

At the very top, tap on "Keyboards"

Tap the "Add New Keyboard..." option

You will be given a list of suggested keyboard layouts.

Scroll down to the "E" as you are looking for "Emoji"

It is under "Dutch" and above "Estonian". This will add the
emoji keyboard layout. Now, you have
Emoji on your iPad Air 2.

To confirm the presence of Emoji, tap on the search "Settings" bar

Switch the keyboard layout by tapping on the globe icon

You will need to do it once or several times, depending on the number of layouts installed. You will see that you, in fact, have
Emoji.

You will be back to your regular keyboard.

If you don't want to search for anything, simply tap on "Cancel"

Press the home button to go back to the home screen
