    To begin, ensure you have Adobe Illustrator open and your document ready

    Select the object to add crop marks to by using the "Selection Tool"
    .
    It is the black arrow in the top-left corner of the tool bar. You can also use other selection tools if you have more complicated objects. Again, there are other VisiHow tutorials on how to do that.

    We click the yellow circle to which we want to add crop marks
