To begin, we will unlock the phone by pressing the power button located on the right side of the phone

Now, we will swipe upwards to get to the home screen

Find the Viber icon, which looks like a purple chat bubble with a telephone inside of it, and tap on it once to open the application

When the application is open, we can see across the bottom in the grey bar there are four options: search, add a new chat, add a group chat, and a list icon.

We might have to find the Viber icon by first tapping on the "Apps" icon, which is grey with white squares inside of it, to open our applications folder

Tap on the list icon located in the bottom-right corner of the screen to view our profile photo and account options

Scroll down and tap on "Settings" which is indicated by a gear-shaped icon

Tap on "Privacy", which is the option at the top that is indicated by a lock icon

Tap on "Block List", which is the fourth option from the top

In this example, the block list is currently empty.

Tap on "Block number", which is located in the grey bar at the bottom of the screen

This will let us see all of our contacts for Viber.

Scroll down until we locate the person we want to block from contacting us, and tap on the circle to the left of their picture to add a check mark to it

This will indicate in blue and make their name and profile visible at the top of the screen.

Once we've finished selecting people to add to the block list, we will tap on "Done" located in the top-right corner of the screen

As we can see, the person is now added to the block list.

To close the application and go back to the home screen, press the home button on the front of the phone located at the bottom
