Add Alternate Calendars in Windows 10
Edited by Lukward Thomason, VisiHow, Eng
Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add alternate calendars on Windows 10 computers.
The first thing that we need to do is open up the Calendar application. To do this, we need to click the lower-left corner of the screen to open up the start menu.
Then, we need to click the Calendar icon.
Once Calendar loads, we need to click the gear icon to go to the settings.
In the settings panel on the right side of the window, we need to click "Calendar Settings".
When "Calendar Settings" are opened, we scroll down until we find "Alternate Calendars".
We need to click to check "Enable". We will have two options enabled.
We can select the language in the upper drop-down menu. In this case, the language is English. We can set other languages.
We can change the alternate calendar. In this video, all of the days in the month have extra dates, because the default calendar is Gregorian and the alternate is also Gregorian. We can change this by clicking the drop-down menu that says, "Gregorian".
We select a new calendar. For this tutorial, the Hijri calendar will be clicked. The numbers in the calendar will change.
This concludes our tutorial on how to enable the alternate calendar on Windows 10 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
