Edited by Hotelier, Rushell, Eng
Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today we will show you how to add an activity on Google Fit on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we'll unlock the phone by pressing the button on the top right-hand side of the phone
.
2
Then swipe up on the screen one time to get to the home screen
.
3
In this demonstration, we have the Google "Fit" heart-shaped icon already loaded on the home screen
.
4
If this icon is not loaded on the home screen, tap on the "Apps" icon in the bottom right-hand corner
.
The icon is a gray box with a set of white squares inside, and it says "Apps" below it.
5
For now, we will open Google "Fit" by tapping directly on the heart-shaped icon located on the home screen
.
6
We can see that we have not yet recorded any activities for today
.
7
Scroll down just a bit, and we can also see that "Activity detection is off"
.
This means that any movement that we made this morning is not being recorded.
8
Scroll back to the top of the screen
.
9
If we want to add an activity that we missed automatically recording, tap one time on the three dots at the top right-hand corner of the screen
.
This will bring up a menu.
10
Using this menu, we can "Add activity", "Log your weight", view our "Settings", or reach the "Help & feedback" page
.
11
We want to select the top option, "Add activity", so tap that one time
.
12
On the "Add Activity" page, the clock icon at the top is highlighted
.
This means that we are recording time completed, which does align with our daily goal. We can also have his align with different types of goals.
13
If we're tracking distance, we would use the map icon
.
14
For calories burned, we'd use the flame icon
.
15
For steps taken, we would use the icon showing two footsteps
.
16
We will keep the clock highlighted, so the recorded activity does align with our previously set daily goal
.
17
We do want to change from "Walking", so we can tap on section to change the type of activity
.
18
We can choose from a list of "Favorites"
.
19
Scroll down to find a wide variety "Other activities" as well
.
20
We'll select "Stair climbing" by tapping on that
.
21
Although we did complete this activity today, we did not complete it at "12:00"
.
22
We can change the date if needed by tapping on the word "Today"
.
23
This will bring up a calendar, and we can change the date by selecting a day on the calendar
.
24
Then press "Done" at the bottom when finished
.
25
To change the time, tap directly on the time
.
26
Then we can drag the blue indicator on the clock to the correct time
.
27
The clock then changes to minutes, and we can drag the blue indicator to the appropriate time here as well
.
28
Then we'll choose "Done" at the bottom of the screen when we've entered the correct time
.
29
Tap in the hour field to change the number of hours that we did the activity
.
Since we did not climb stairs for a very long time, we won't enter anything in this area.
30
Therefore, we will need to tap on the middle section, which is minutes
.
31
We climbed stairs for about "5" minutes, so we'll type that into this section
.
32
We can select "Next" at the bottom right-hand corner to move to seconds, but we're not going to enter in any seconds
.
33
Now, press "Done" at the bottom right corner of the number pad to close it
.
34
When we're satisfied with everything, we can tap on "SAVE" at the top right-hand corner
.
35
This automatically adds the activity, and now we can see our activity detector when from 0 to "5 min today"
.
36
To close this application and return to the home screen, press the bottom center button one time
.
37
This concludes our tutorial on how to add an activity on Google Fit on the LG L70
.
