Hello, and thank you for using VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to add, change or delete a label on a note using the Google Keep application on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we will unlock the phone by pressing the power button located on the right side of the phone
.
2
Now, we will swipe upwards to get to the home screen
.
3
Find the Google Keep icon, which is a yellow box with a light bulb inside of it, and tap on it once
.
4
If the Google Keep icon isn't on the home screen, we can find it by tapping on the apps menu icon which is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it
.
In this example, we're accessing the app by tapping the icon on the home screen.
5
To add a label to a note we've already created, tap on the note to open it
.
Here we are viewing the home page of Google Keep where we can see all of the notes that we have added so far.
6
To add a label, tap on the three dots icon in the top-right corner of the screen
.
This will open a pop-up box with some extra options. We can choose "Delete note", "Add label", "Make a copy", "Send", "Hide checkboxes", or "List settings".
7
To add a label, tap on "Add label" which is the second option
.
This will give us three choices to label our note with: "Inspiration", "Personal", or "Work".
8
Tap on the box to the right of the label we'd like to use
.
In this example, we're using "Inspiration". As we can see, the box next to selected option will now appear blue with a check mark inside of it.
9
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back to the edit area
.
The label will automatically save when we do this. As we can see in the bottom right corner, the label of "Inspiration" has been applied to this note.
10
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner one more time to go back to the home page
.
We can now see once again in the bottom-right corner of the note, the label says "Inspiration".
11
To change the label, tap on the note again
.
12
Tap on the three dots icon in the top-right corner to open the pop-up box
.
As we can see, the options have changed slightly. We still have "Delete note", "Make a copy", "Send", "Hide checkboxes", and "List settings", but our "Add label" note has changed to "Change labels".
13
Now, we will tap on "Change labels"
.
As we can see, we have already applied the "Inspiration" label.
14
To apply a second label, we can tap on any of the available options
.
In this example, we'll tap on "Personal".
15
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back
.
As we can see, there are now both "Inspiration" and "Personal" labels in the bottom-right corner.
16
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner to go back to the home page
.
As we can see, both labels are now applied.
17
In order to delete a label, tap on the note we'd like to delete from
.
18
Tap on the three dots icon in the top-right corner to open the pop-up box
.
19
Tap on "Change labels" which is the second option
.
20
In order to remove a label, we simply tap on the checkbox next to the label we'd like to remove
.
As we can see, the check mark has been removed meaning the label is removed when we do this.
21
Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner two times to go back to the home page
.
As we can see, there are no labels attached to this particular note.
22
To close the application, tap on the home button located on the front of the phone near the bottom
.
This will take us back to the home screen.
