Now we are in the Photo Resolution menu
    .
The Photo Resolution menu shows us the four options. There is 12MP Wide, 7MP Wide, 7MP Medium and 5MP Wide. 12MP is the highest resolution, it gives the best quality photo and is used often. It is a wide view shot and it is the favorite one of most GoPro users. The reason we might change the megapixel resolution is because the lower resolution means less quality, but it also means each picture takes up less space on your SD card so you can take more photos. The other reason we might change this setting is because always taking a photo in wide angle can cause some distortion and cause you to lose appreciation for the wide angle because it takes every photo in this angle. If you mix it up a little bit and add a bit of medium angle in there, you get a different contrast to your photos. Select the option you want, I'm going to choose 12MP.

Press the mode button again to go to the next option for the camera
    .
The next option for the camera is Continuous Photo. Enter this by pressing the shutter button.

    Now we have 4 options
    .
This is about continuous photos, as you can see, the first option is just Single, it means if you hold down the shutter button it will just take one individual photo. Next, 3 photos per second, 5 photos per second and finally 10 photos per second.

If you select one of these options and then hold down the shutter button for as many seconds as you like, it will take a burst of photos
    .
It will take 10 photos every second if you selected that. Remember to hold it down. It's also important to know that your camera will remain in Continuous Photo mode until you return it to single photo capture mode.

These are the two settings related to the camera function on the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition
    .
Play with the settings, experiment and see what you can come up with, take some photos in different situations and different contexts. See the contracts between different bursts, angles, megapixels and different resolutions. That's the best way to learn about your camera, experiment, have fun, see what you can create. If you have any questions, comments, queries or suggestions about things we've talked about today you can leave them in the section below. You've been watching VisiHow. Goodbye.
