My child locked my phone and I forgot my Gmail address and password?
I have two unlock features on my phone before it goes to my Gmail and username and password which I've forgotten.
You can use the Google Account Recovery portal to establish yourself as the owner of the account, and reset your login credentials. This will allow you to use the internet to unlock your phone, by resetting the associated passwords. Note that once you complete this process, you'll need to change and update your phone passwords.
Here is a direct link to the Google Account Recovery portal, but we'd encourage you to read through our main guide, which covers the process of using this tool in Step Two. That guide can be accessed by following the link to the full article, which appears at the end of the article snipped contained in this Q&A.
As an added note, it's usually a good idea to write down your passwords somewhere in the home. This way, if you forget them again, you can always use your record of the passwords to unlock the phone, and regain access. By doing this, you shouldn't need to use the Google Account Recovery tool if you forget your passwords again.
