PayPal is one of the most secure and sure ways to get paid and to buy online. If you are a newbie on online commerce, using PayPal to receive and send out payments might be confusing at first. You can withdraw funds from your PayPal and transfer it to any local bank accounts or associate it with verified credit cards, so you won't have to bring lots of ATM cards or traveler's checks.

Tips

  • The obligatory €1.50. When you add a new card you need to have at least €1.50 in it. PayPal needs this to check if your card is active and approve it. Then this €1.50 is included in your balance, which is separated from the currency you want to work with.
  • According to PayPal the fastest way to withdraw money from there is by using the PayPal Debit MasterCard, but this is mostly used by US citizens.
  • People from the US must wait three to four business days until their transaction is completed, and those who live outside this area must allow PayPal two to three business days.
  • Transactions for US citizens are free.
  • Transactions for non-US citizens are tasked with €2 fee.
  • When you request a check, the fee is $1.50.
  • The minimum amount of money you can withdraw via bank transfer is $1.00 USD.

Warnings

  • Sometimes your status may say that the transaction is completed, but your money is still not in your bank account. This means that PayPal has sent the withdrawal, but your bank needs a few days to make the money available in your account.
  • The name registered on your PayPal account must be the same as the name you have on your bank account!
  • Remember! A requested withdrawal cannot be canceled!

Questions and Answers

How can I withdraw money from PayPal as a non US citizen?

I am a non US citizen and I don't have a passport, I only have my country ID, so I can't open a US Account so how can I withdraw from PayPal

  1. 1
If you have no access to PayPal or cannot receive cash.
If creating a PayPal account or receiving PayPal cash is not available in your country, then you need to find someone who will receive money for you in another country. Otherwise, if you try to trick the system, your account will be, sooner or later, limited and blocked. Be careful when choosing companies overseas who can help you, as they might be one-day fraud companies. Choose a friend or good acquaintance to help you.

  2. 2
If you can open an account for your country on PayPal and receive cash.
If you can open an account for your country, then follow the procedures described on PayPal (they depends upon the country) to remove any limitations for your transactions, such as adding your passport data, address, and, credit card or bank data. Then, confirm your credit card and address by following the offered procedures, which can be being charged for a sum and then entering the sum from the credit card receipt into PayPal. In some countries, your address can be verified by receiving a letter with a code that you can enter in PayPal.
    • If you choose not to use a credit card, then call or visit any bank and ask them to open a standard account (non-credit card account) for you with details that you can use on PayPal (check PayPal for the required data). Then, enter the bank details in PayPal. You may need to check the bank by receiving a certain sum and then entering it in PayPal. After that, you will be able to withdraw your funds!
    • PayPal in some countries cannot send money directly to the credit card. You will have to send the money to your bank account. Then, if your bank allows you to or if you want it, you can transfer cash from the bank account to your credit card account.
