Will the left over bump from a drained stye go away on its own?

I had a stye on my lower eye lid that I put hot compresses on for 5 days before it drained. It does not hurt anymore, it just looks bad. It has been 7 weeks already and it is not getting any smaller. How long do these last and how can I get it to go away?
