Why is my hoarse voice not getting better?

I'm a call Center rep., I've been struggling with severe hoarseness for about 4 months now. Doctor says she sees no sign of cancer, and nothing I use seems to work. I'm unable to work right now.. I have tried: I've taken medicines such as sinus pills, a nasal spray, antibiotics, throat spray, home remedies such as honey, ginger, lime, saltwater gargle, etc. I think it was caused by: I started work in an AC environment in Jan 2016 and I developed a bad cough within 4 weeks after starting. The coughing lasted about 3 weeks, and it was accompanied by a scratchy throat feeling then I was normal again. About 3 months after that the hoarseness started and got worse gradually. During this time I was still working at the call center
