Why men are too busy to text or talk or email and never think of you?

I meet this guy online 3 weeks now, I often text him but he texts once and he is always busy with his mom or work, text back 24 hrs or I send 3 messages. should I wait for him and I ask him how come we don't talk on the phone, he said never crossed his mind, what to do. It is a long distance relationship, he is in Ontario. I have tried: Text so much, he replays when I text, and that is it, or I stop and wait. I think it was caused by: I think in a way it is my fault, I told him on the first text my problems in the past relationship!
