Why is the phone not accepting my Google login credentials on the lock screen of the phone when too many patterns have been drawn?

My 6 years old brother was trying to get in my phone. he didn't know the pattern and drew it excessive amount of times. the phone is not locked and is asking for Google account login. but when I entered my Google account that is assigned with the phone and try to reopen it, its not accepting it. now I am stuck and can't move

It maybe because you are not connected to the internet that is why you cannot reset the pattern. You have to do a Hard Reset. This will delete all user data and apps.

  • turn off phone (charge until full)
  • press and hold:

power button

volume up/down or both

home button (if any)

look for reset button/hole ( http://screencast.com/t/eRfxnjsl)

  • release buttons when you see logo
  • choose wipe data/Factory Reset
  • choose yes--delete all user data
  • choose reboot now

Hi. My Note4 is locked "too many pattern attempts" and is prompting me for my email and password?

Unfortunately, both cell data and WiFi are turned OFF, so upon entry of username and password, I get "no network connection." I don't want to lose data.
