Questions and Answers

Why can't I open the PPSSPP emulator? How can I fix OpenGL 2.0?

How to download games for PPSSPP emulator and fix OpenGL 2.0?

Your graphics processing unit (GPU) must be able to officially support OpenGL 2.0 in order for you to use the PPSSPP emulator. To find out if your GPU supports OpenGL 2.0, do the following:

  • Right-click on your Desktop.
  • Click Properties.
  • Click Settings.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Click Adapter.

The model number you see here is your GPU model. Search Google for "[your GPU model] OpenGL 2.0" to find out if you're supported. If you are, you'll be able to update your drivers and use PPSSPP; if not, you unfortunately will not be able to use the emulator.
