Managing the contacts folder on a Samsung Galaxy S 4G?

This is my first smartphone and I noticed that most of the apps appear to be web based. I would like to store my contact list on my phone (SIM card actually) instead of online. Is the Contacts folder capable of managing multiple phone numbers or only just one?

Sending profile from my Samsung Note4 to another person elsewhere?

I had someone showing me before, where the receiver gets my info and has the option to set up as a contact; can't remember how to send. I tried this morning to Share Contact via messaging+ and info only showed the body of the text message; no option for the receiver to create contact.

"Custom" category disappeared from CONTACTS in Android?

Until yesterday I used a feature in "contacts" (Samsung S4, Android) called "custom". It is no longer shows up. Instead, there are a bunch of useless (for me) new categories. How do I restore the very useful "custom" category?. I think it was caused by: New version?

I am trying to set up a group, but after I bring up contacts there is not the second tab called groups or a menu button?

Hello, I have a Galaxy S4 and can't set up groups. Instructions say to go to Contacts App, but once I am there, there is no tab called groups and no menu button (actually when I do tap the menu button to left on bottom, it just brings up my own apps like Facebook etc.) - However, if I hit the 2 people icon there is the groups icon to the left - I click it and my contacts come up. If I click on one there is nothing there to indicate setting up a group. My phone does not have what the steps are asking to form a group: The only one that applies is step 1 Open "Contact" app, from there nothing works:

Was this helpful? Yes | No

Step 2: Tap on the second tab "Groups"

Step 3: Hit the Menu Button (left to the home button) - no menu, just my personal apps are there.

Step 4: Tap on "Create"

Step 5: Write the Group Name and assign ringtone etc.

Step 6: and Step 7 are adding numbers etc. and save. I have tried: Pressing every button I have. the menu only brings up my personal apps such as Facebook, email etc. -- I found an icon with 2 people, I click that and at the top left of the screen shows an arrow with the name groups. well, that didn't work, all that came up were my contacts -- when I click on one there info comes up and all I can do is edit or text them -- there is nothing that indicates setting up a group. I think it was caused by: No problem that I am aware of. I tried to set a group a few months ago with my 3 children and that failed miserably. Instead of a group, they are merged into one child so now I can't tell which one is calling because it only has my one child that shows up on screen. The only thing good about that is if I go to contacts and click that child all three come up with all of their info from phone to address from when I had them in contacts as an individual. So if I click on the individual child, it always comes up with the group name of one of them.
