When I put in a charged battery, S4 shows start screen briefly, then goes black and will not start up?
Today I let my battery go dead. I then plugged in the charger and nothing at all happened. I keep extra charged batteries, so I tried putting one of these in. Each time I put in a charged battery, the S4 briefly shows start screen ('Galaxy S4') then goes black. I've tried removing the battery and holding the start button for one minute, but this has not changed things. I'm hoping that you might have another suggestion for me to try. Thanks. I have tried: I've tried charging the phone. I've tried putting in another battery which has been charged on a wall charger. I've tried removing the battery and holding down the start button for one minute, and then tried starting the phone again.. I think it was caused by: I really don't know, as nothing really unusual occurred prior to the phone no longer starting up. I did leave the phone on my car charger while I went shopping, and when I picked it up an hour or so later it was somewhat warmer than normal, but still working. Only after the battery died a couple of hours later did the problems begin.
