What was that relation? Are they really mother and child?

I'm not married yet we were engaged and it's an arranged marriage, he lost his own parents since 3 years, 2 years back an aunt adopted him as her son he is 25 years old, she is 43 years old, they both are very intimate, they used to text, call very frequently they can't live without each other, the way of that aunt text irritates me like anything, I told him please don't talk to her like that there's a limit for texting, when he is with me he always checks his phone in secret, now he is staying separately from his adopted mother's home but very recently I caught him @10:30 pm at that aunt's house, he said that I have an office work my senior asked me to come so I'm going but I saw him in her house. He gives more importance to her than me, he can live without me but he can't without her, when I said stop talking to her, he said I'm not talking to her, because of her our relationship is spoiling but he is meeting her at late nights we are not married yet so there's no possibility to stay together
