What happens when a tow truck driver pushes a driver to the ground?
This should not happen unless there is a very strong resistance in the part of the driver. Towing should not in any way be violent. There are usually discussions before it happens, but it definitely does not warrant having to push.
Does a boston private company tow truck driver have to be granted clearance before hooking up my car?
I arrived early this morning around 8:30 to check on my car. I screenshot my time at 8:37 after going back and forth with the tow truck driver. Finally a boston public works gentleman came over and asked if the tow driver had gotten clearance to which he responded yes. The BPW worker then prompted us to call BPD immediately. We did at 8:41 the tow driver was gone... it was not cleared at this time. Later we found out it was not cleared until 8:43 we arrived at 8:29! By this time it was already on the bed and he was hooking an SUV to the back of the flatbed. I have tried: Called BPD, the private towing company, and the public works multiple times I was told that I would have to wait for the manager of the private tow to come in at 4pm! meanwhile I'm missing school and work because I currently have no car.. I think it was caused by: I was parked in visitors parking where street cleaning began at 8AM I understand that there are rules yet they have to follow them as well.
