Watch YouTube Videos in Safari on iPhone 6
Edited by Kara, Alexander Avdeev, Eng
Hello! You are watching VisiHow, and in this video I will teach you how to watch YouTube videos using Safari on iPhone 6.
Let us unlock the phone so that we can access the home screen with all of our applications.
Safari is the little blue-clock-looking icon on the front page.
Let us open it by tapping it.
It is already loading the last page that I have viewed.
In order to access YouTube, you have to tap on this little bar on top, which is the bar for web addresses and search that is set-up by default.
You can tap on this delete button on the keyboard.
Or you can press "x" to remove the previous address.
Let us tap on "x".
You are welcome to type.
I type "YouTube", and it is shown in the very first result. Let us tap on it in order for it to load.
You are on the YouTube page using Safari.
For example, you have children, and they are obsessed with cartoons.
Sometimes, you might not be able to watch them on TV or on a computer; and you urgently need to put on some cartoons like "Baby Einstein" (one of the most watched cartoon for me on my phone) for your children to distract them. You just tap on the result.
If you want to have the video in the film mode when it plays, then you need to turn your phone at a right angle.
If you turn your phone with the setting that prevents turning the image, this is what you are going to end up with.
Let us summon the control center by sweeping from the bottom.
There is a little lock icon that you need to tap so that it is no longer lit up.
Close the menu by sweeping your finger down.
Now, we have allowed our phone to change to go into the film mode, which is very convenient when you are trying to watch videos.
You can fast-forward the video.
You can adjust the volume of the video.
When you have finished watching the video, you just tap "Done" so that you can search for more videos.
If you scroll down, under the video that you have just watched there will be videos that are automatically "connected" to the video that you have just watched.
Let us put the phone back into the vertical mode and search for a different cartoon.
You just tap on this little search bar and type the name in it.
Let us find "Busy...", and the second match in the results will be "Busy Beavers" that you are welcome to play.
This is one of the children's favorite cartoons on YouTube. They have learned all colors and shapes from it. We select it by tapping on the search result.
Again, if you need to get into the horizontal mode you just turn your phone.
Your children will be occupied for the next thirty minutes. This is how you watch videos on YouTube using the Safari application, your best web browser. Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any additional questions on how your phone works, please leave them in the comment section below. Stay in touch!
