You're watching VisiHow! This is a tutorial on how to watch Flash on the iPhone 6.
To begin with, let's give a quick press on the Home button.
This will take us to the Lock screen.
We can also press the Power or Lock button on the upper-right side for the same function.
We swipe across.
This may take us directly into the Home screen of the phone.
Alternatively, we may be asked to enter the passcode or use Touch ID.
Touch ID is just touching the round Home button that we have previously pressed. We just need to hold a finger or the thumb on the button. We will enter the phone and will be taken right into the Home screen.
On the Home screen, we are looking for the App Store icon.
The icon is a blue square box with a white circle and "A" made of a compass and some pencils.
We tap App Store.
Once we've tapped that, we are going to enter App Store. While there are some amazing and fantastic things in App Store, we are specifically going directly to "Search".
We tap "Search".
We want to search.
We tap the search input box to search for Puffin.
We type "puf".
Now, "puffin web browser free" will be shown in search results.
Let's go ahead and just tap "puffin".
We'll have the Puffin web browser shown. There is a free Puffin web browser. Alternatively, we can use a paid Puffin web browser. In this case, it costs around $3 or $4; and it's already owned.
We can tap "GET" or the cloud icon for either browser to download it.
The phone will show the spinning download icon to let us get started with the Puffin browser. Once the browser is downloaded, we're going to launch it.
Once the download has completed, we simply tap "OPEN" to open the Puffin web browser.
This will open the browser. From Puffin, we will be able to visit and see any of the Flash web sites that we would like to find. There will be the start window.
We can swipe through to see a couple of things that the browser can do.
First, we will see that it's a browser that works off the cloud storage. What that means is that all of the pages that we browse are surfed from the central server location, which makes the browsing experience faster. Additionally, it means that we might access the content that might be blocked in our country, which is extremely helpful.
Let's swipe to the next one.
Flash is a big problem for other browsers. We can play Flash games, and we can see Flash objects and things. All from the iPhone or iPad because we are using Puffin that uses its servers rather than our system to render Flash.
We can swipe left.
We can see the whole selection of great wonderful and cool findings in the Puffin world.
We can swipe left again.
Finally, we have the option and ability to get organized. The Apple TV screen can be recognized in the picture. It's similar to what Puffin has.
We can swipe left again to finish the introduction.
We have great search options that we may have noticed in the earlier introduction. Some of those options have already been listed. However, we review that in another tutorial. For now, we are interested in Flash.
Let's tap "Start" so that we can get going with Flash.
In order to find a Flash page, we tap the "Search" icon.
Let's type "flash games" to search for Flash games, for example.
We tap "flash games" from the search results.
We tap a web page with Flash games to go to the page.
Now, we are on the page that lets us play Flash games.
Let's tap a game.
In this example, we've tapped the Little Pony game. It is called Pony Dream-Land, which is a Flash game. It's currently running on Flash, working effectively on the iPhone.
If we would like to make Flash run in the full-screen mode, we simply tap Flash.
Then, we tap the full-screen option.
The Pony game will be in the full-screen mode.
To switch out of the full-screen mode, we tap the "X" at the bottom.
This concludes the tutorial on how to set up Flash and how to get Flash working on the iPhone 6 by using the Puffin browser. Thanks for choosing VisiHow! If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, then please leave them in the area below. Have a great day!
