    You should have Illustrator open and a document ready

    Let's create an object by clicking "Rectangle Tool"

    Double-click the fill color

    Next, click "Selection Tool" in the upper-left corner of the vertical toolbar

    Click the "Style" drop-down menu

    "Style" is the first option in the dialogue window. You will see the same list of effects as in the previous expanded menu, in case you would like to make any changes.

    You can click either a "Horizontal" or "Vertical" effect

    Make your selection by clicking the radio button next to the effect you prefer.

    You can alter the "Bend" value of the warp by clicking and dragging the scroller to the left or right

    You can also click anywhere along the line or type a percentage into the text box on the right side.

    Next, you can change the "Distortion" values

    In this section, you can change the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" distortion in the same way: by clicking and dragging the scrollers, clicking on the lines, or typing percentages into the text boxes. The "Warp" effect is an easy way to manipulate an object if you want to create something that looks professional.
