WHITE SCREEN on start up and remain the same?

Actually my problem is that I been flashing my Galaxy 5360 and by mistake I had chosen a wrong kernel which lead me to white screen ..when I on my mobile its goes with Samsung Galaxy y black screen as the logo comes and after that it became full white ..no other actions are done after that so I tried using ODIN...i did downloaded Samsung KIES as followed through some articles as how to treat your white screen back to your original firmware...but as I press my home volume and power button I enter the same white screen than I opened connect my phone to USB than open ODIN and pressed volume up key to enter in download mode as it was stated in a video tutorial over you tube ..and choose bootloader as I downloaded original firmware ...there is no phone detection over ODIN as well as KIES ..and hence stuck on the same ..please if you can help please suggest links if you have some special tricks or correct procedure to work my phone good ,.. I will really appreciate if you can help me in this ..from last 4 days I been trying and trying ..but all I can find is stuck on the same white screen and digging up my grave for my phone .. I know you are expert and you can help me in learning ... :) a great hope I am here ...its been good to learn from you and hear some of the tings I might aware of it thanks P.s You can fix this problem by simply doing the following.

  • Turn your phone Off.
  • Boot into Download Mode. Press and hold the following buttons simultaneously: Volume down , Home and Power button.
  • Connect your phone to your PC.
  • Flash the original firmware of your phone via ODIN.

I do this but nothing happens. It just goes black and then the Galaxy Y logo comes up and reboot screen returns within a minute or so?

In the step: "Once you have entered the Recovery mode, release the buttons." I do this but nothing happens. It just goes black and then the Galaxy Y logo comes up and reboot screen returns within a minute or so
