How do you fix "Fault in your CPU" problem?

So I'm trying to run an apple operating system on my PC using VMware Virtual Workstation and when I run it states ..... . A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state. If this fault had occurred outside of a virtual machine, it would have caused the physical machine to restart. The shutdown state can be reached by incorrectly configuring the virtual machine, a bug in the guest operating system, or a problem in VMware Player.. . . could you fix it?

Is the CPU the freezing issue here?

I have a Toshiba laptop that keeps freezing. the mouse keyboard and display are unresponsive but audio will keep playing. It happens randomly and when one or many programs are open or even idle. . . I have stress tested and its fine. The temperatures are fine. I ran the intel diagnostic software and its fine. I have checked for viruses and malware. I have reinstalled windows. I have checked my hard drive and its fine. I have checked my RAM and it's fine. I am unsure of what to check next. I have no warranty or insurance left and am a student so can't really afford a new laptop.. thanks. I have tried: All hardware diagnostic tools, stress tests, temperature checks, reinstalling windows, checking RAM and HDD seating, virus checked. I think it was caused by: CPU
