Here we have all the different types of history that we have
We have "Web & App Activity", "Device Information", "Voice & Audio Activity", "YouTube Search History", "YouTube Watch History", and "Google Location History". We can see that most of them are turned On and the "Google Location History" is turned Off. Suppose we don't want the "YouTube Search History" to be recorded, then we can turn this option Off and all we have to do is press down on the option that we want and it will open up the option.
It says, "Pause YouTube Search History? Pausing YouTube Search History will result in fewer recommendations for videos on YouTube and other Google products. Remember, pausing this history doesn't delete any previous activity, but you can view, edit and delete your private YouTube Search History data anytime. Note that the YouTube app on Android also has app and device-level settings related to search history used for auto completion of searches. This is independent of the account level YouTube Search History setting".
Now it is going to give us another warning which says, "Your private YouTube Search History stores your searches on YouTube in order to help make future searches faster and give you better video recommendations"
If we want to turn this back On, press this icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. It says "TURN ON" in blue text.
Press back until we have reached back into this menu
We can see that these are different options. We looked at "YouTube Search History" but we can look at the others as well. Follow the same advice I have given you to turn them On or Off or access them in order to manage and see what information or history is being stored.
