    It is adjusting the brightness depending on the environment they you are in. If they step up in the bright sun, verses stepping in the building, elevator, or basement, as your phone detects the change in the ambient light It will also going to shift the brightness of the screen. It is a great way to save some battery.

    I like my WiFi,I like my Location, I like my Sound, while Screen Rotation I almost never use that because I like my screen just to rotate, Bluetooth it is nice to use it occasionally to turn ON, Mobile Data, I don't worry much about that, Power Saving I don't worry so much about that.
    Tool box I rarely use that, Screen Mirroring is a special function apps.

Open and close the Notification Panel

To open or close the notification panel, follow these procedures:

    Wherever you are on the Home screen, drag the status bar to the bottom part of your screen to open the Notification Panel.
    You can do this be touching the top-most part of your screen then do a dragging gesture to the lower part of the screen.

    • Most applications allow you to open the notification panel while you are using the application. You need to double swipe to the bottom to open the Notifications Panel. First swipe will show the Status bar and the second swipe will pull down the Notification Panel. If an application does not allow you to pull down the Notification panel, then you can minimize it by pressing the Home button.

I went to Developer Options USB debugging, it is checked. When I went to the Notifications pull down window, there is nothing that indicates connected to USB Cable. I was able to connect in the past (via USB cable), but not lately.

When on a phone call with my ear to the phone, the contact of my ear to the screen pulls down the notification panel. Then my ear opens a button. Is there a setting to prevent this?

How do I download my pictures safely from my Samsung SM-G530w into my portable hard drive?

When I followed the previous instructions, I could not find the place where I was to ("connect as a media device (MTP) tap camera (PTP) and find out if the computer does not have any appropriate driver applied. I have tried: I tried to find the Notifications Panel and they were all apps from Google, which I do not understand (as I do not want to give over control of all my pictures to Google) Then I was supposed to go to connect as a media device (MTP). I think it was caused by: I had pictures taken off my cell and landed in windows on display because I had the USB connected to the computer......even including private matters which were in my documents...all without my knowledge or consent. I want to keep my art and photography private.
