Samsung Galaxy Note2 has a notification panel which will help you use your phablet (phone and Tablet) more efficiently. It allows you to quickly toggle key settings, such as screen rotation, airplane mode, Bluetooth, GPS and many more. You can customize the icons based on how you use your device.

    To access your notification and quick setting panel, navigate to "Settings", tap "Display", and choose "Notification Panel".

    On your notification panel, you will see different "Quick setting" buttons which you can customize.

    Driving mode - This feature is convenient to use when driving but may also be used in other environment.
    When enabled, it can announce the name of the caller, read the content of SMS text messages, give you the number of emails received, and perform many other functions.

    Mobile data enables your device to access the internet through your network service provider.

    If it is turned on, it allows you to share files with others.

Mobile Data button not appearing under Quick Setting Buttons?

I can use 2 fingers to drag the panel down and see all the quick setting buttons, and I can click the little pen icon to edit the buttons, but the button I most want doesn't seem to be there! I want to be able to turn Mobile Data on and off from that easy-to-reach menu. The Mobile Data button appears in your pictures in the article above, but is missing from my phone for some reason. Please help! (Thanks)

It seems that you are using Kitkat or have updated your firmware. You might also notice that your icons are now white instead of blue or green. The mobile data button is removed because users are accidentally hitting that button. In order to eradicate that problem, the mobile data switch is in your settings so that users will not accidentally turn it off or on. To enable mobile data, simply do the following:

On my Galaxy Note2 There isn't notification settings option in settings-display?
