- 5Place your hands on your waist and take a breath. Push your hands into your waist slightly in order to identify the expansion. The abdominal wall should expand a little when you inhale and when you exhale. You should feel the expansion of the area from step 4. It will allow us to feel the diaphragm at work in order to create good breathing.When you take a breath, try to concentrate on the area from step 4 in order to feel the expansion.
