    It is purple with an image of a white camera on it. If the tile has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find Lumia Camera in the Apps menu.

    This indicates the video spotlight is deactivated.

    Press down on the flashlight icon to turn on the spotlight.
    A large amount of light is also projecting and illuminating the area in front of the camera. The spotlight is quite bright as well as quite useful.
