Edited by Thor, Rushell, Eng, Inukshuk
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn the spotlight on when making a video with the Lumia Camera application on a Microsoft Lumia 535. This can be a good function to use when shooting videos in the dark or to help you illuminate certain situations.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
Once the phone is activated, swipe the lock screen up to get to the home screen.
Find the Lumia Camera tile.
It is purple with an image of a white camera on it. If the tile has not been pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find Lumia Camera in the Apps menu.
Once it has been located, press on Lumia Camera to open the application.
First, press the video camera icon at the bottom of the screen to enter video mode.
At the top of the menu on the right side of the screen is a small icon of a flashlight in a circle with a line through it.
This indicates the video spotlight is deactivated.
Press down on the flashlight icon to turn on the spotlight.
A large amount of light is also projecting and illuminating the area in front of the camera. The spotlight is quite bright as well as quite useful.
To turn the light off again, press the flashlight icon once more.
This concludes our tutorial on how to turn the spotlight on when making a video with the Lumia Camera application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
